Cylindrical Support

Holds a bore or other cylindrical faces. Set radial, tangential and axial all to 0 to clamp the faces, or leave all three empty to fix nothing; a partial set is refused, since the solver holds a node in every direction or none.

Inputs

Faces Face Set

Where the condition acts: a selection from Faces in Solid. Its Solid, entity kind and tolerance decide which part of the domain is affected. Required.

Takes: Faces in Solid
Radial Number

Movement toward or away from the axis: 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free.

Tangential Number

Movement around the axis: 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free.

Axial Number

Movement along the axis: 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free.

Output

Boundary Condition

Properties

Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.
