Fillet Beam Joints

Rounds the joints of a lattice: beams that share a vertex are filleted with the radius Blend radius takes at that vertex, in the chosen profile. Beams that only pass close are not joined. Outputs a Solid.

Inputs

Lattice Lattice

The lattice (for example from Rib Walls) whose joints are blended. Required.

Takes: any block that gives Lattice (14 blocks)
Blend radius Number

Fillet radius in mm: a constant, or a field read once at each vertex. 0 leaves the lattice unblended.

Takes: any block that gives Number (102 blocks)
Blend type Choice

Blend profile: rounded (circular fillet), chamfered (flat bevel), sharp (no blend, radius ignored), continuous (smooth polynomial), organic (soft exponential melt) or super (superelliptic fillet).

Output

Solid

Used by: any block that takes Solid (95 blocks)

Properties

Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.

BoundingBox Bounding Box

The axis-aligned extent of the Solid.

ScalarField Number

The Solid's signed distance, as a field.

Inverted Solid

The Solid turned inside out: what was inside is now outside.
