Warp

Distorts a Solid or a field: at each point the input is read at the position given by a vector field, or by three separate coordinate fields. The distorted extent is not tracked, so intersect the result with a bounding solid to control the meshed region.

Inputs

Input Solid or Number

The Solid or field to distort.

Takes: any block that gives Solid (102 blocks)
Coordinates Choice

Where each point reads the input from: one vector field of positions, or three fields giving its X, Y and Z coordinates.

Position Vector

For each point, the position the input is read from.

Takes: Vector, Position, Sample Gradient, Reaction Force, Combine Components, Gradient
X Number

For each point, the X coordinate the input is read from.

Takes: any block that gives Number (102 blocks)
Y Number

For each point, the Y coordinate the input is read from.

Takes: any block that gives Number (102 blocks)
Z Number

For each point, the Z coordinate the input is read from.

Takes: any block that gives Number (102 blocks)

Output

Solid

Used by: any block that takes Solid (95 blocks)

Properties

Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.

BoundingBox Bounding Box

The axis-aligned extent of the Solid.

ScalarField Number

The Solid's signed distance, as a field.

Inverted Solid

The Solid turned inside out: what was inside is now outside.
