Builds a grid of cells that follows a surface: on a CAD face, stacking layers along its normal; between two CAD faces, blending from one to the other; or on a quad mesh, one column of cells per quad. A CAD face needs a UV parameterization from import. Refuses above 2,000,000 cells.
What the grid follows. Between Faces lines the two faces' UV directions up itself, picking the least twisted match; Between Faces with Origins lets you set each face's origin corner and flip.
The CAD face the grid sits on.
A quad mesh, e.g. from Triangles to Quads; each quad becomes one column of cells.
The face where the grid starts (w = 0).
The face where the grid ends (w = 1).
Which corner of the first face's UV range becomes the grid's origin.
Swap u and v on the first face.
Which corner of the second face's UV range becomes the grid's origin.
Swap u and v on the second face.
Cells along the face's u and v directions and through the height or across the gap (w). Rounded to whole numbers, at least 1.
How far the grid reaches out from the surface along its normal, in mm. A field varies it across the surface.
How many cells each column is split into along the height (at least 1).
Straight cell edges between the corners; on by default. Turn it off on curved faces so the cells follow them more closely.
Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.
